Structured Cabling Solutions (Voice and Data)
The FROG Group offers a wealth of structured cabling experience gained over the past 10 years. Our qualified electrical engineers can advise, design and implement structured cabling for small offices through to a complete campus with fibre backbones and wireless LAN. If used in conjunction with our Cisco certified engineers, a robust, efficient and effective network will result that will meet all your business requirements.

Frog can provide Implementation of Uninterruptible Power Supplies to meet even the most critical computer rooms. As an Authorised Merlin Gerin Solution Provider we can rate and provide UPS's from 1Kva through to 120Kva.

Wireless LAN
For those difficult to cable area's or buildings you would like to link but are too far or problematic to physically cable then there are wireless LAN solutions. A wireless network can allow users to wander in or out with laptops or palmtops and connect to your network (ideal for building sites or warehouse staff). Or can give you inter-building connections of 100Mbps or more over distances of up to 5 km. Coupled with IP Telephony and you have a complete voice and data solution.

LAN Hardware
Networking solutions, from Cisco and 3Com, provide the backbone of any IT system. Using the Cisco IOS software it is possible to control and maintain every element of your network from one console. All the equipment that FROG provides is of the highest quality and allows the construction of resilient corporate networks for voice, video or data. Everything is designed with your business's requirements in mind, whether it be a small switched office network or a multiple building campus requiring VLANs, wire speed switching and multi-gigabit backbones.

All network resilience is a factor of good design.
WAN Hardware
We exclusively use and implement WAN solutions from Cisco. Again, initial design is key to a resilient and efficient solution. Working in conjunction with BT, NTL and other service providers we will give you a system that meets your company's needs.

• Point to Point Leased Line (including Voice over IP)
• Frame Relay (including Voice over Frame Relay)
• Virtual Private Networking (VPN)
• Remote Access Services

Firewalls
Once you are connected to the Internet there is increased risk of unwanted access to your organisation's systems and information. You might, also, wish to audit and control the sites and information gathered by users while on the Internet. As a Cisco Partner we recommend the Pix Firewall range of hardware/software solutions for just this purpose.

Mobile Computing with VPN
With more users working on the move or from home, being able to securely connect to the office to synchronise email, contact and calendar information or to retrieve proposals and presentations then remote access services become a must. There are various methods to achieve this from the standard telephone line (both analogue and digital (ISDN)) to the Internet using a VPN, triple DES encryption and digital signatures. VPN is fast becoming the method of choice for remote access as it allows users to connect to the office from almost anywhere where they can use an Internet browser. Thus the office information and services are brought to you anywhere, anytime and any place. By combining this with Thin Client solutions, such as Citrix Metaframe or Microsoft Terminal Server, it is possible to actually run your own office desktop and applications remotely as if in the office and without significant speed degradation.
