Frog is a reseller for both Avaya IP Office and Splicecom Maximiser telephone systems.

The Splicecom telephone system is a completely new system using the latest Voice over IP techniques to provide a very scalable and modular system for any size of business.

The Splicecom system can scale up to 5000 users, with modules simply plugging in to your network as you need. The main unit supports 4 ISDN2 lines (2 calls each line) which can either be trunks (e.g. plug in to BT) or internal ISDN2 extensions to work with other ISDN2 equipment. It also has an optional ISDN30 port (up to 30 calls at once) which can also operate as a trunk or ISDN30 extension. This alone provides significant flexibility to integrate with other ISDN equipment. You can have several of these modules in a system, and they do not all have to be physically in the same place as long as they have a IP (e.g. network) connection between them.

The phone modules provide either 15 or 30 telephone points for use with analogue phones. However, even though analogue phones are used, the system fully supports calling line identity and PC integration over your network allowing all of the features of an expensive system phone at a fraction of the price.

With these two types of module you can easily build a phone system for almost any size of business. Putting phone modules in each floor of a large building or hotel simplifies wiring by only requiring a single network cable between floors. Used with a wide area network, you can make a multi-site company or campus operate with a single phone system.

In addition to using standard analogue phones, the system also includes a very flexible IP phone. This is unlike any phone you have seen as instead of a keypad it has a full colour touch screen. For normal calls you dial using the touch screen much like a normal phone, but the screen can display much more information including web pages. It is possible to push messages to all phones by a simple command or even and external input on the system. These phones are ideal for executives, as well as locations where a PC would be to clumsy. The phones display can carry your own intranet pages and systems which can be integrated with calling number information when you received calls.

The system includes built in voicemail, and is configured via web pages so can be used with linux and windows with ease. The interfaces for call logging, phone control, and configuration are all publicly available making the system absolutely perfect for integration with third party systems.
